I’ve never paid more than $30 f or a hair dryer before, but when my hair dryer and Straightener broke at the same time, a little research found that theres available technology to do the job of both better. This hair dryer has exceeded my expectations and it was worth everything penny. I absolutely love the way my hair feels when I use it.

Im a hairstylist, and This is the best drier I’ve ever had. Ive had the Paul Mitchell drier, that was great too but after purchasing 4 and each one blew out after a year of use, I gave up. This drier has a small nozzle, so it’s not necissary to use the additional attachment, although it does come with 3, which is awesome! It heats up really well but never heats up the actual drier, which is GREAT! In the past my blow driers stay hot not just with the heat being blown out but also it burns my hand because it’s overheating the drier. At first I thought hot air wasnt coming out so I tested the air a few times to make sure, and it was defiantly hot. I now blow dry my clients with at least 10 minutes less. This is a powerful blow drier, it also blows extremely strong winds. Love love love the Portofino, this is my new favorite blow drier.

I read most of the reviews here on Amazon; despite some of the negative reviews I decided to purchase this hair dryer. I have to say that I am absolutely satisfied with this hair dryer; it really is a professional type of hair dryer. I used Conair from Target before, and this hair dryer is really the best. I don’t understand why some people were complaining about this dryer not generating enough heat. Were they trying to fry their hair? This dryer generates enough heat to fry your hair if you set it on the highest setting!!! This dryer is a bit on the heavier side, but what would you expect if you are trying to get the best performance hair dryer?! The powerful motor will obviously have some extra weight!!! I was able to achieve salon-like straightened hair (my hair is naturally curly). I finished blow drying with a little flat iron touch ups to my hair and it was silky and shiny just like done by a professional hair stylist. I haven’t figured out why there are different size concentrators, but I love that they the same like my hair stylist is using. I hope this dryer will last me for quite some time (it does have a 4 year manufacturer’s warranty).

BaByliss Pro Hair Dryer Worth the money!

I’m very happy with this dryer! I have always had basic hair dryers from Target/Sally’s, and decided to try a higher quality dryer after years of fighting with my hair. My long, thick, curly hair usually takes about 30-45 min to dry (straight). This dryer cut the time to about 25 min. The airflow is powerful, and the nozzles do a great job of concentrating the air. Not only is the dry time shorter, but the quality of the blowout is much better. My hair feels soft and has some extra shine. I was nervous about the heat, based on prior reviews. With thick hair, I have relied on high heat in the past. I found the temps to be just right, and as another reviewer mentioned, they seemed to warm up after a minute or so. And the “cool shot” button is actually quite cool — very nice! Overall, this was a great buy. I am so glad I upgraded from my basic dryer!

BaByliss Pro Hair Dryer GREAT!!

I found this BaByliss drier easy to handle, except for the fact that I couldn’t figure out how to use the various heat settings with which the dryer is equipped. There are two rows of small, easy to push,buttons and I thought that by pushing them, there would be a difference is temperature settings or speed, or both. I guess I have’t figured it out yet, but I will. And, it definitely made my hair look shiny.

I have very thick, long hair and this hair dryer cut my drying time down to half. It is lightweight and better than my chi. If you are considering this product just buy it. It was worth every penny!!!
