Revlon RV670AW It worked!

Okay, I hate blow dryers and I hate straightening my hair because it is thick and long and takes forever. I am so against the time consumption that goes in to doing my hair that I stopped getting chemical relaxers 5 years ago and went natural (and for those who are in to it, my hair type is type 3c/4a and about mid back length when stretched). 1 to 2 times/year I have to straighten my hair to trim my ends. This process usually takes forever and it ends up as a puffball within an hour. I managed to get my hair as straight as I would get it with a mid range flat iron with this dryer alone and it only took about 20 minutes. I managed to get the flat iron through as well without it reverting to a puff. At no point did it overheat and shut off. I was quite happy.

The only issue the dryer might have though is the location of the vent. I think that this might cause issues for people who are left handed as the vent will spend most of the time against your hair and I imagine that would make it more prone to overheating.

Silly me thought all blow dryers were created equal! This one has FAR surpassed any blow dryer that I’ve EVER used! I’m black and have ethnic hair and this blow dryer is comprable to me using a flat iron on my hair! It’s never gotten this straight with any other product.
The ions make the air smell funny! but its well worth the ending results. I’m glad my old one broke because this was a MAJOR upgrade! It’s perfect in every way!

I love my new styler. It has alot of power and alot of features. The only thing I was disappointed about was the attachments. I thought they would be smaller, for my shorter hair. But in fact the brush attachment is really only good for longer hair, as it is too big.

I like this stye of dryer because I have curly hair and it works best to dry and smooth my hair with the attached styling brush. I take mine to the gym and many women ask me about this style of dryer who have curly hair. The actual body of the dryer is a little wide so it can be awkward at first to hold, but you find a way to hold it that suits your hand. I like that it has three speeds and a cool air button. On the normal loud side as far as dryers go. This unit holds up well as long as you take care of it. Make sure you keep your hand and hair off the air vent or the dryer will overheat in short time and shut itself off till it cools down. Seems self evident but I read people do it. Great dryer for the price and gets the job done well. Nice looking too. Thumbs up!

FHI Nano Salon Pro 2000 Hair Dryer Colored Hair no longer dry looking

I bought this because of the great reviews. I color my hair (to cover gray) and blow drying always takes too long and hair looks dry and have some sticking up all over. I bought this and OMG!!! It took half the time to dry and no fly-away hair!! I have gotten so many compliments. I loved it but never thought anyone would notice. I really do get such nice compliments. Remember I am over the hill and hair seems to get dryer with the years and coloring doesn’t help that “except cover the gray” which I am so happy for that. But if you feel your hair is getting too dry and/or frizzy, fly-away hair — this will take care of it. Its a one-time purchase and so worth it. 3-temperatures and a cool button which I love. What can I say, oh it is not all that heavy, regular weight as other unless you want a little blow and a lot of noise from a much cheaper hair blower. Been there done that… this is the BOMB!!! Don’t waste more time or money on frustrating hair blowers, be good to yourself and buy this awesome hair blower.

My hairdresser recommended this dryer. He works in Hollywood and does the hair and wigs of many ladies you have heard of. This dryer is AWESOME. Does a great job. Just don’t drop it. I dropped mine one too many times and had to buy another one which I quickly did. Now I put a towel in the sink and put the dryer in the sink while I’m futzing with my hair so it won’t slip off the counter. It’s so great I am getting my mom one for Christmas whether she needs it or not.

I rarely leave reviews, but I have used my new hairdryer 4 times now and I am amazed. The power, the smooth sounds, the quality and results are amazing. My hair came out so smooth I thought that perhaps I put too much product in my hair, and I almost thought that the product made my hair a tad oily. Nope that’s just the natural shine. Wow. FHI Hair Dryer Wish I had ordered one years ago!

Hair dryer arrived a week ago, so I’ve given it a good trial. Right away I noted it was at least twice as quiet as my old Revlon Quiet Tone, more a low rumbling than high pitched blast. It is heavier to hold – but not excessively so and it makes it feel like there is actually something in there for the money! The handle is very comfortable to hold, with either hand. Has separate heat levels (cool, warm, hot) and speed levels…vs the cheaper ones that have only off, low, high control. Hair dried in 1/3 the time as usual and is soft and silky…I am even using less product. I will never settle for a cheap hair dryer again.

FHI Hair Dryer BEST DRYER FOR CURLY HAIR!

I absolutely love the FHI‘s nano pro 2000! This is my second one. I had the last one for four years before it broke (thanks to my husband). It works wondefully! I have very curly/frizzy hair and it’s the best diffuser I’ve found. It also straightens my hair very quickly, defrizzing it and leaving a nice shine. When I had to replace the first one, I tried several different blow dryers (all highly recommended and between $130-200) but this one is by far the best! Fhi Heat 2000 a MUST for naturally frizzy hair!

This hair dryer is amazing! I can’t speak long term, I’ve only had it a short time, but I will say that I am NEVER going to buy a different dryer again. I have medium thick hair that air dries naturally puffy and frizzy with some curl. It used to take 15 min to blow dry my hair, and my hair was still pretty frizzy and puffy. Not anymore! I can dry my hair in 7 min and my hair looks almost as tho I’ve straightened it with a flat iron. I still flat iron it but if I don’t i’m not embarrassed, I can actually leave my house. Also, this dryer’s cool shot feature is amazing, feels like air conditioning. The dryer is half as loud as any others I’ve used. A really great buy/investment. You won’t be disappointed, you’ll be in love!

My hairdresser used this dryer on me, and I was amazed at the short length of time that it took to blowdry out my natural curly hair straight. Not only did it cut the time in half but it looked very shiny and healthy also! I got the name of the dryer from him and immediately did a search online to find it – and Amazon definitely has the best price out there! Don’t get me wrong, it is quite an expensive dryer. I wanted to buy the best dryer ever. I did a lot of research on Chi and Fhi first, and decided to go for the FHI model. My hair looks shinier, dries faster and I can stylish it easily. It was worth every penny!

Like the first reviewer, I also did a great deal of research prior to making my purchase. If you’re going to spend an obscene amount of money on a hair dryer, it better do what it claims. I couldn’t be happier with this one. It dries my hair in less than half the time and my hair looks at least twice as good than with my old $20 conair.

I have very fine, wavy, hair, and I have alot of it. It always took a very long time to dry, and nothing I tried ever seemed to tame the frizz. This hair dryer has made a huge difference! It’s a little heavier than my old one, but I don’t have to hold it as long, and the results are fantastic. No more frizz!

It’s quite a bit of money to spend on a hair dryer, but the results I achieve with it, and without having to use any styling products, is completely worth the cost.

Fhi Heat 2000 Excellent heat, power and speed.

I have fine texture, naturally wavy, but very thick hair. My stylist marvels at how long it takes her to dry my hair. This hair dryer is super strong and it has taken time off of my drying and styling. (I am considering bringing it to my next hair appt. for her to try.) My hair has never been this soft from a hair dryer before. Other than wanting funky, jagged texture sometimes, I have stopped using my flat iron! It also gives my hair volume, despite the wonderful softness. I am very happy with this hair dryer, although I still feel guilty for spending so much.

I have justified the cost to myself because I am expecting and HATE blow drying my hair. I don’t want to be “that” wife/mom/woman who lives in a ponytail after the baby is born. Honestly, with this hair dryer I am far more likely to style my hair.

Oh, and last thing. My hair is always greasy the second day after washing. IF there is any oil I run the dryer and brush through my dry hair and it looks as good as the first day. I am able to wash my hair every two – three days without feeling self-conscious. That was NEVER the case before. I used to use powder in the roots of my hair the second day. Not anymore!

Bottom line, if you are willing to spend the money, I would highly recommend this hair dryer. IMHO, it really does make a difference.

Fhi Heat 2000 Hair Dryer Does wonders for my porous, prone to frizz hair

I LOVE this blow dryer. Several years ago my old professional blow dryer died, and I ended up replacing it with the best that Walmart could provide. It seemed to have all the latest and greatest technology and bells and whistles (3 heat settings, cool button, 3 air speeds with ion, ceramic heat), but my hair just wasn’t getting dry. By the time my hair dried my scalp was soaked, and my hair was was still frizzy no matter how much anti-frizz hair product I used. I have what a hair professional termed “textured” hair. It’s thick, porous, dries slowly because it retains moisture, and tends to frizz.

This blow dryer dries my hair fast, straight, and my hair feels great. It takes half the time to actually get my hair dry now, and my scalp isn’t soaked afterwards. This blow dryer gives me the same results as my salon visits. Big revelation….not all blow dryers are alike.

This blow dryer is an investment, but thanks to the great reviews I was confident in giving it a try, and I’m so glad I did. It’s worth every penny in time savings, and I like my hair again, and I actually have a hair style.

I was initially skeptical on its claims that it cuts drying time in half and maintains moisture but its true. After years of buying those low cost hairdryers that I knew were not helping my thick curly “already dry” hair, like another reviewer I started researching for the best one I could find and I knew it would be expensive. Well, this one is absolutely worth every penny. My hairstylist was using this dryer and it took 1/2 the time to dry my hair. I love the extra long cord and the various settings. It was a little heavy at first, compared to my old Vidal Sassoon but I quickly got used to it. You will not be disappointed. I’d purchase another one in a heartbeat.

I am a professional out doing hair pretty much all week long. I have tried the T3 featherweight( loved it but it died) the T3 evolution( have never loved it as much as the original featherweight) all the Chi dryers ( they are ok), and countless others over the years. This by far is the best for power, anti-frizz, and body that I have ever used!!!! I used it this am before dropping my daughter off to daycare and a girl commented ” Love your hair did you just get it done??” LOL and the best part is that its raining today and super humid. Now granted I am a pro, and know how to give myself a great blowout, but on super humid days I need to reblow the front around my face again….not today. This is superior to any of the above mentioned dryers…..you will love it!

Fhi Heat Hair Dryer Dries fast; creates soft, shiny hair; lightweight

This dryer is probably the best one on the market. Overall, I’m very happy with it and would highly recommend it to anyone with processed, frizzy hair. It’s worth the money just because of how much time it saves. I have very long, colored, curly, Caucasian porous hair of medium thickness, and of course I fight nature by drying it straight. It takes about fifteen minutes to dry it with the FHI dryer. If I let my hair air-dry for a little while first, then it takes about eight minutes to dry it. That’s impressive, because a standard dryer would take about 45 minutes to do the job. I’m also impressed with how lightweight this dryer feels. It’s comfortable to hold it by either the handle or the barrel, and the concentrator attachment stays on firmly and works very well. I haven’t used the diffuser attachment, so I can’t comment on that. The hot setting is extremely hot, so I use the warm setting, and the cold setting is surprisingly chilly and works great at setting the style.

However, for me personally, because I have very long hair that is thinner and more porous at the very ends, this dryer does not eliminate the need for the flat iron afterwards. For some of us with naturally fuzzy hair, it’s just not realistic to expect a dryer alone to make our hair completely silky and smooth. This dryer does make my hair more smooth and shiny than my old Hot Tools ionic dryer was doing. After using this dryer, my hair is soft, straight, and shiny, but still puffy at the ends and needs the flat iron. I would not be able to wear my hair down after using the FHI dryer alone.

On the plus side, flat ironing is faster and easier after using the FHI dryer than it was after using the Hot Tools ionic dryer. The FHI dryer must do a great job of smoothing the hair follicle, because when I flat iron after using the dryer, the iron’s plates slide down the hair very easily; I don’t feel like I’m tugging on my hair with the flat iron like I would if I were still using the old dryer. After drying and flat ironing, the result is what we all want: very smooth, very silky hair. The FHI dryer alone doesn’t produce that result, but it should still get much of the credit.

If I’m in a huge hurry, it is possible to use only the FHI dryer, not the flat iron, then throw my hair into a style that hides the puffy ends, like a braid or a bun, and go out looking pretty good. Doing so would be impossible with a different dryer. So: five stars. I reiterate that this dryer is worth the cost, and I think that every girl with frizzy hair deserves to own one.

Conair Ion Shine So far it’s great

I bought this for my wife when her old one started making a hideous shrieking noise. She is happy with it so far. It doesn’t get stupid hot so it doesn’t damage her hair. That is important to her. She has never mentioned it feeling heavy so IT’S NOT. Trust me, this 94lb woman asks for help lifting a gallon of milk, so really you should be fine.

I don’t know about the ION aspect, I mean it blows hot, dry air. Even the box it came in didn’t sound too convinced, using phrases like ions may be emitted, which could possibly make hair shinier. Whatever, it does the job, and doesn’t wake the dead.

Bought this because my TINY hair dryer of 15 years died. I like this one, but its big, again, my other dryer was TINY. So this was an adjustment. I haven’t noticed any major differences in my hair, but its less static-y.

My kids like it because of the warm setting, its perfect for them. They also like the cool button…I don’t really use it myself.

It’s a hairdryer. It blows cold air over a heating element and makes it hot. That hot air evaporates and carries away the water in your hair, making it dry. Hardly rocket science. It does all the above well.

The “ion” function only works when the cold blast button is pressed, so I don’t have to worry about where all those extra electrons hangin’ off the negative ions will end up.

The overall slow speed of the fan coupled with the diffuser makes a nice, safe warmer for cold winter feet, too.

I love my dryer. I had a Conair that lasted years and it started to slow down. I made the mistake of purchasing another brand and used that dryer around 8-10 times. I hated it and it actually started to melt at the opening. Horrible and took forever to dry my hair. So, I went online and found another Conair 1875 watt like my first one. This one is a bit heavier but it is FABULOUS! I don’t need to put it on high, the low level works very well. It is pretty quiet and just a great dryer which I expected after going back to the brand I should have purchased from the beginning. If you want a lighter dryer there were other Conair to choose from, but if you don’t care about that, then get this dryer. You won’t be disappointed.

I got this as a second hair-dryer for traveling and to leave at my boyfriend’s house so I didn’t have to lug my Conair 213X Infiniti Pro (about $40, and much heavier than this one) back and forth every weekend. This was a great choice. The dryer is much much lighter than what I’m used to and has a nice smooth feel (as in, it doesn’t feel light plastic under my hands, but more of a rubbery-feel – very pleasant!). It is also just as powerful as the 213x. It has 2 speeds (gale-force wind and normal), and 3 heat settings. I use the gale-force winds on medium heat and my hair 4-5″ below my shoulder, thin-medium thickness, is dry in under 3 minutes. My younger sister tried it out and put it on gale-force high heat and she said it didn’t stay on for more than a few seconds. My thoughts are it could have been my outlet (I live in a very old apartment building – circa 1900s) unable to handle the current flow OR it could have been a safety feature of the hair dryer to prevent over-heating. Either way its not a problem for me since high heat hurts my head and ears and makes me feel as if I’m destroying my hair! All-in-all its a great value for the price.

I think pretty much all has been said in the above reviews. It dries hair quickly, but doesn’t damage it by being too hot, nor does it make it frizzy. It is not too loud – it is not exactly quiet, but nothing dramatic. It is not too heavy either. And it’s a good deal! I have had it since a month and I actually go through the trouble of blowdrying my hair much more often now, because my hair looks so nice now. (Well, not that I was a monster before).

I rarely bother to write reviews on amazon.com but I used this hairdryer for the first time last night and I can tell it made a WORLD of difference from my previous archaic hairdryer. My hair is shiny, frizzless and it’s staying that way for a long time now–I naturally have curly and sometimes frizzy hair, this feels like a miracle. Oh and I must mention I used this hairdryer along with the conair ininiti ionic brush and my hair was dry in about 5 minutes!!! I’m very happy with the dryer.

Great hairdryer, particularly for the price. Lightweight and easy to use. The air concentrator stays on even when the dryer is very hot.I know some people have mentioned that the controls are a little awkward but I really have not had a problem with that.
